Intersecting paths

We all have our life paths to walk. When our paths align, albeit just for a short period of time, we enjoy each others company whole heartedly, living every moment in the present because you will never get it again. When it comes time to leave, what is a sad farewell going to add? Perhaps all it does is add unnecessary tangling between our fundamentally independent lives.
